Why castles are one of the best destinations for recreation?

Nowadays, castles have become not just historical attractions, but also destinations where you can have a great time with friends or family within both active and passive recreation. On the territory of modern castles, you can live in a hotel, relax in a spa, taste original cuisine in a restaurant, ride horses, boating, hiking, and much more.

Sweden is a wonderful country where you will find many beautiful castles with different activities in all seasons.

Why exactly these three castles?

I am always of the opinion that before visiting a place, it is worth reading the recommendations and looking at the choices of others. Despite the many castles in Sweden, I chose three of my favorites: Tyreso, Gorvalnslott and Herringe.

How i made my choice?

I am an esthete. It is important for me that the place breathes history and beauty. I love a variety of leisure activities, both active and passive. I appreciate fine cuisine: I like to spend relaxed time in a place with beautiful surroundings and enjoy not only delicious, but also aesthetic food. I just adore nature: it is important for me that the territory allows a lot of walking, swimming, having picnics... And at the end of the day I want to know that I have the opportunity to spend a wonderful night at the castle hotel and enjoy the SPA.
